Ever lost your scissors mid-project or felt stuck making the same safe shapes? This workshop introduces hyperbolic crochet, a technique that looks complex but delivers surprising joy once it clicks.
You’ll create a sculptural scissor keeper that’s practical, playful and impossible to ignore, while learning how intentional increases create dramatic texture and form. This project works best when using a gradient or variegated yarn, preferably cotton or cotton blend.
Guided by Andrea Clements, a founding member of Crochet Guild Australia with nearly 30 years of experience, this session blends skill-building with the calming, restorative side of crochet.
Leave with a finished piece, a new technique and the confidence to try something bold.
General admission for the day (Sunday, 21 June)
