Assessors

Our assessors play a vital role in the education team.

All assessors have completed Crochet Guild Australia’s teacher or instructor training courses and bring a wealth of experience and expertise to their role.

Their responsibilities include:

  • Assessing Competency: Reviewing participants’ crochet samples to evaluate stitch proficiency, accuracy, and the ability to follow and replicate written patterns.

  • Evaluating Teaching Skills: Assessing participants’ ability to plan, structure, and implement a series of effective lessons.

  • Reviewing Learning Logs: Ensuring participants’ Learning Logs are thorough, reflective, and meet all training requirements.

  • Providing Constructive Feedback: Offering detailed, supportive feedback to help participants improve their skills and confidence.

  • Upholding Standards: Maintaining the high standards of the CGA training program by ensuring consistency and fairness in all assessments.

Our assessors play a key role in supporting participants throughout their training journey and in upholding the quality and reputation of CGA’s education programs.

If you have previously completed a CGA training course and wish to be an assessor, contact us:  ed.co@crochetguildaustralia.org.au
