Immerse yourself in the world of yarn with our Yarn Overload workshop hosted by the knowledgeable Linda Dean. This morning session is designed for beginners, making it perfect for those who have never held a hook. Linda, an experienced crochet designer and instructor, will introduce you to a wide array of yarns and fibres, teaching you the properties and effects each has on your projects.
During this workshop, you'll learn about the qualities of various fibres, such as alpaca, llama, mohair, silk, merino, Shetland, superwash, bamboo, angora, acrylic, and cotton. Discover how different types of yarn, including their weight, twists per inch, and ply, can influence your stitches. Linda will also cover essential knowledge about yarn substitutions, ensuring you can match your yarn to your projects for the best results.
