Micro-crochet earrings

Micro-crochet earrings invites you into the delicate, addictive world of miniature crochet. Working small can feel intimidating, but this workshop shows how familiar stitches transform beautifully at a micro scale.

Guided by Janhavi Anturkar, you will learn to handle fine threads and tiny hooks with confidence, manage tension without strain, and use simple finishing techniques that turn motifs into durable, lightweight jewellery.

There is real joy in seeing something so small come together, and real satisfaction in leaving with a pair of earrings you've completed and the skills to keep exploring this intricate, wearable art.

Please bring the following with you to the workshop session:

• Fine crochet thread (size 10, 20, or 40; light colours preferred for visibility) or embroidery thread
• Small steel or fine crochet hooks (0.75 mm–1.75 mm recommended; bring a couple of sizes if unsure)
• Magnification tools such as reading glasses or a small magnifier (optional visual support)
• Crochet stitch markers
• Scissors and tapestry/yarn needle for finishing
• Notebook and pen
