Joining Crochet Motifs

Join us as we explore the art of Joining Crochet Motifs with the talented Kylie Moleta. This workshop is perfect for those looking to master various joining techniques and elevate their crochet creations. Kylie, a renowned freelance crochet designer with a flair for colour and design, will guide you through different methods, from invisible joins to more intricate ones.

During this session, you will learn to join multiple pieces, manage corners, and select colours and designs that enhance your work. Whether you prefer joining with a needle or a hook, this workshop will give you the confidence and skills to choose the best project technique. 

Please bring the following with you to the workshop session:

• Four (4) small granny squares using any pattern you like
• 50g of yarn for joining
• Corresponding crochet hook for your yarn
• Crochet stitch markers
• Scissors and tapestry/yarn needle for finishing
• Notebook and pen

Workshop notes:

Be prepared to frog after each joining method! you can use your phone to take photos of your join before frogging.
