Please bring the following with you to the workshop session:
- A 'pointy' double ended hook - this can be
-
- A double ended hook of size 6.5 mm OR
- A double ended hook created by using a 6.5 mm Tunisian crochet hook for the forward pass and a 6 mm hook for the return pass joined by a cable.
- DK weight / 8 ply yarn in two contrasting colors (1 ball each). Choose yarn that's easy to work with and doesn't split easily.
- Tapestry needle and scissors.
Workshop notes:
Picking the right hook and yarn is crucial for your first Tunisian In The Round project. The yarn should be easy to work with, and the hook should be pointy to pick the right loops and bars. The yarn should also have enough contrast for the pattern to be clearly visible. Although a 6.5 mm hook is recommended, having a range of hook sizes (5 mm to 8 mm) is helpful for matching the right hook to your yarn.
The Ipsa Blanket is made with fingering weight yarn (4 ply), but in this workshop, we will use DK weight yarn (8 ply) to learn the technique. The skills gained can be easily applied to any other yarn weight for creating the Ipsa Blanket or other projects.

Please note: This session will be delivered in-person only - no online offering will be made available.
