Create stunning jar lights that glisten and twinkle through the attachment of crystals or beads to your crochet  that is wrapped around a simple jar.

In this workhshop, one of Crochet Guild Australia's founding members from Hervey Bay in Queensland, Jill Rakich, steps you through the method of attaching crystals and beads to yarn to then crochet into her own unique jar light design.

In this workshop, Jill will show you how to make your left over jars into your new outdoor entertaining ambience. You can adapt this pattern to lots of different size and shapes of jars.

Duration: Morning session: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Skill level: Beginners to intermediate
Inclusions:

General admission ticket for 2 June 2023
All materials needed to finish a small beaded light jar will be provided and are included in the cost for this workshop.
Pattern will be emailed to each participant (value $15) on payment for the workshop.


Please bring the following to workshop:

  • 3.5mm crochet hook suitable for 8 ply cotton 
  • 1.5mm - 2.5mm crochet hook for adding beads
  • 5mm-6mm crochet hook for starting chain (first row)

Please note: This session will be delivered in-person only - no online offering will be made available.

Sessions run concurrently on each day, so please only choose one full-day session OR no more than one each morning or afternoon sessions per day!
