Meet amigurumi, the friendly, addictive corner of crochet that turns yarn into character. In this full-day workshop with Heather Whitehead, you will learn the core techniques that make amigurumi work, from shaping and colour changes to the small details that bring toys to life.

Designed for beginners, this session removes the fear of tight stitches and fiddly forms, replacing it with confidence and momentum. Choose from nine carefully designed patterns and make your first amigurumi from start to finish, with guided support throughout the day.

Many participants even progress to a second project as skills build. Leave with practical know-how, clear reference notes, and the joy of seeing your crochet become something truly playful.
