Expansion Tunisian crochet

Expansion Tunisian crochet is for makers ready to move beyond the basics without losing their footing. In this skill-building workshop, Abbey of Abbeymade guides you through the next layer of Tunisian crochet with clarity and care.

You’ll learn how to read Tunisian crochet charts, use increases and decreases with purpose, broaden your stitch repertoire, and work in the round with a cabled hook.

The included Canberra Cowl pattern grounds new techniques in a wearable project, replacing uncertainty with confidence and opening up creative possibilities that carry well beyond the classroom.

Please bring the following with you to the workshop session:

• Small amounts of 8 ply yarn for practice swatch/es
• 100g skein of 8 ply yarn in fibre of your choice – used to make the Canberra Cowl
• 5.5mm or 6mm Tunisian crochet hook with a 60cm cable
• Crochet stitch markers
• Scissors and tapestry/yarn needle for finishing
• Notebook and pen
