Mosaic Purses - Members only

This is a special CGA members-only workshop. Registrations open for CGA members on 4 May 2025.

Discover the art of mosaic crochet with Tinna Þórdóttir Þorvaldar in this hands-on workshop. Learn the fundamental technique of mosaic crochet while creating a stylish purse featuring intricate bud patterns. This session is designed for those familiar with basic crochet stitches—chain stitch, double crochet, and treble crochet—making it accessible yet engaging.

During the workshop, you’ll begin working on your mosaic purse, with guidance to ensure you can confidently complete it at home. The same technique can also be applied to cushions and other decorative projects. Along with expert instruction, participants will receive an electronic copy of the Mosaic Buds pattern.

Please bring the following with you to the workshop session:

• 6-10 cm long zipper
• At least two colours of yarn in 4ply (bring 50g each)
• 2.5mm and 3mm crochet hook
• Crochet stitch markers
• Scissors
• Sewing needle with a sharp tip suitable for yarn
• Notebook and pen

Workshop notes:

Participants should bring with them a copy of the pattern emailed in their registration confirmation.
