Join us for an empowering and educational crochet workshop with Desiree Lee, a passionate self-taught crocheter with a knack for making complex patterns easy to understand. This 1.5-hour session is perfect for beginners who want to learn how to read and follow crochet patterns confidently.
In this workshop, you'll gain an understanding of the basic structure and components of crochet patterns, become familiar with common abbreviations and symbols for US terminology, and learn to confidently follow a simple written crochet pattern and diagram. By the end of the session, you'll have completed a beginner-friendly project and be ready to tackle more patterns on your own.
Desiree Lee, with two years of crochet experience, has developed a passion for creating clothing pieces and has followed a wide variety of crochet patterns. Her experience with both well-written and poorly-written patterns has taught her how to navigate and understand them, and she's excited to share this knowledge to help others feel confident and make reading crochet patterns less intimidating.
