Embark on a crochet adventure with Jenny Whiting, a talented instructor who is passionate about freeform crochet and sustainable crafting. This morning session is perfect for those with intermediate skills who want to explore the versatility and creativity of crocheted spirals.
In this workshop, you'll learn the structure of crocheted spirals using two, three, four, or even more colours. Jenny will guide you through the effects of using different stitches and yarns, working in both front and back loops to add surface decoration. You'll be encouraged to think about using spirals in various projects and create your own unique spiral creations, whether orderly or delightfully disorderly.
Jenny Whiting enjoys freeform crochet and pattern design. She is dedicated to sustainable crochet and uses scraps and rescued yarn to make interesting creations from brooches to clothing and wall art. As a member of Crochet Guild Australia and the Knitter’s Guild of NSW, Jenny led the successful Freeform Crochet Along for CGA in 2024 and is currently on the Education Subcommittee of CGA.
