Mock Hairpin Lace

Discover the art of Mock Hairpin Lace at the National Crochet Conference with Linda Dean! Linda will guide you through the process of creating these loops using just your hook, offering shortcuts for fringe and innovative stitch techniques. Expect to master consistent loop height, shaping, and integration into familiar stitch patterns.

Linda Dean is a seasoned crochet designer and educator, known for her inventive approach to stitching. As a self-taught crocheter, she emphasizes the journey of creation as much as the final product. With over a decade of teaching experience and active involvement in the Crochet Guild of America, Linda brings a wealth of knowledge to her workshops. Please bring the following to the workshop:

• solid coloured yarn (any weight or fibre) in 2 colours – 1 ball each

• hook size to suit yarn (eg 8 ply and a 4 or 4.5 mm hook)

• scissors 

• crochet stitch markers

• yarn needle

Sessions run concurrently on each day, so please only choose one full-day session OR no more than one each morning or afternoon sessions per day!
