Learn to create Foundation Stitches (sometimes called Foundation rows) in this amazing class with one of the four founders of Crochet Guild Australia, the much loved Lyndall Reeve. Lyndall was previously the Membership Officer for the Guild prior to the current management committee.
"The most difficult thing in crochet is getting foundation chains the right length, even, and easy to work into. We all wish that we could skip that first row and move on to the rest of the work".
Lyndall is the master of problem solving and has studied with the crochet masters internationally picking up tips and tricks to make the crochet journey easier, smoother and your finish more refined.
In this class you will learn how to do the chains and the first row of stitches simultaneously so that you actually do the first two rows together.
Learn how to add chains or subtract them and what to do when your stitch count is not working. Lyndall will share how to do all her other yarnie secret finishes that no one has ever shown you to perfect your projects and make your crochet journey easier.
Students will need to know how to make chains, double crochets and trebles.
