For all crochet designers! It’s time to get all those amazing design ideas out of your head and into a document that you can share with the world! Let me show you the skills required to write clear, consistent, and concise patterns.

In this workshop, we will discuss:

  • Design process tips to make pattern writing easier.
  • What to include in your pattern document.
  • How to write instructions that follow standard practices.
  • The next steps to take after your pattern is written.

Bring your questions, previously written patterns, a notebook, and a pen. If you haven’t written a pattern yet, please prepare a simple pattern to bring to the workshop. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it will be a great exercise for you to find out where your gaps in knowledge are and what questions you have. Your patterns can be printed out or on a tablet or laptop that you can bring to the workshop.

Over the years, I have been a crochet maker, pattern tester, designer, and tech editor. I have invested a lot of time and effort to understand what makes a pattern great. As a tech editor, I love using my crochet knowledge and technical mindset to help other designers create the best version of their pattern. Let me share my knowledge with you!

Join me in this unique workshop to learn all the skills to take your designing career to the next level.

Information regarding the patterns I have designed and my tech editing services can be found on my website: www.hazennainspired.com
