Workshop 32: Advanced Stitch Workshop with Dedri Uys

Take your crochet skills to the next level with Dedri Uys - our international guest designer from Look at What I made! In this advanced crochet stitches workshop, you'll learn a variety of complex and beautiful stitches that will elevate your projects.

Dedri is a master crochet designer and instructor and she will guide you through the process. Come join us and discover the joys of creating beautiful and intricate designs.

In this workshop, we will focus on interesting variations of simple stitches and stitch combinations.

The goal is to expand our repertoire and explore what is available outside of the “traditional” ways of creating stitches.

We will focus on : 

• Post stitches 

• Joined stitches 

• Yarn-over and Yarn under combinations 

• Extended stitches 

• Spike Stitches

You will leave this workshop inspired with what you will have learnt, created and can apply in your own designs or freehand sampler blankets and more.  

Crochet Guild Australia is honoured to have such an exceptional designer and internationally recognised crochet teacher as our special guest at our conference.

Written instructions for the advanced stitches will be provided on the day.

Please bring the following to workshop:

• 3.5mm or 4mm hook with lighter coloured yarn in corresponding size that suits your hook.
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

Please note: This session will be delivered in-person only - no online offering will be made available.

Sessions run concurrently on each day, so please only choose one full-day session OR no more than one each morning or afternoon sessions per day!
