Workshop 20: Charlottes Universe with Dedri Uys

Join Dedri for a journey into Charlotte's Universe, where you will learn how to create beautiful and intricate stitches found in this continuous square blanket with a lot of floral/lace detail. Dedri will provide you with her expert guidance, tips, and tricks to help you master one of her most popular patterns - Charlotte's Universe.

In this workshop, we will work through some of the trickier elements of the Charlotte’s Universe blanket by creating a small sampler that focuses on the central square.  Dedri's full pattern of Charlotte's Universe is available on her website FREE.

Dedri is providing special stitches patterns for samples on the day!

We will focus on: 

• Front and back post stitches 

• Popcorns 

• Stitch Anatomy (Right side and Wrong side facing) 

Please bring the following to workshop:

Materials you must bring: 

• Double-knit yarn in 6 colours (50g total) 

• 3.5 mm crochet hook 

• 4mm crochet hook 

• scissors  

• yarn needle  

• stitch markers
