In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the foundational concepts of freeform crochet, including starting shapes, yarn choices, stitch combinations, and arrangement techniques to craft captivating brooches. With Jenny's guidance, attendees will have the freedom to unleash their creativity, adding embellishments like beads for extra flair.
Unlike traditional workshops with set patterns, this session empowers participants to design and create their own one-of-a-kind brooches. Jenny provides guidelines, ideas, and considerations while encouraging participants to explore their own unique vision.
Jenny Whiting, with over 55 years of crochet experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the workshop. Her love for sustainable crochet and pattern design shines through in her diverse creations, from brooches to blankets, clothing to wall art.
