Breast Cancer Awareness Month Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, we’ll also be accepting optional donations on the day. Any contribution to support this cause is greatly appreciated!

Rules and Guidelines

To make sure our special October meetup runs smoothly, fun, and fairly for

everyone, please keep these simple guidelines in mind:

1. Labeling & Pricing

Price Tag Every Item: Please label each item for sale beforehand using tape or

swing tags so buyers can easily see the price. Include Details: If the original ball band is missing, please write down the fibre type (e.g., 8-ply Wool, Acrylic) and estimated quantity on the tag. Pricing Suggestion: As a general rule, target 50%–70% of retail price for full, unused skeins, and a few dollars for partials. The Guild does not mediate or resolve pricing or transaction disputes

2. Transactions & Payment

Direct Sales: All sales and price negotiations are strictly between individual

buyers and sellers. Bring Cash / PayID: Buyers, please bring small notes and coins. If you prefer digital payments, sellers accepting PayID/bank transfer should have their details ready to share.

3. Swap vs. Sell Tables

Separate for sale and swap items on your table: Take time to wander around to look at what others have for swapping, I am sure your neighbour will watch your stash while you look.

How the Swap Works: We will allow 1 hour before our monthly crochet time starts so we can sit and relax for our usual Guild meeting

4. Stash Quality Standards

Clean & Odour-Free: Please ensure all yarn brought to the event is clean, stored well, and free from pet hair, smoke, or mothball odours.

5. Space & Leftovers

Display Space: Depending on table availability, please limit your sales display to one tote bag or small box at a time so everyone gets fair space.

Take-Home Policy: Any unsold or unswapped yarn remains your property and must be taken home with you at the end of the session.
